Fees and Billing Information
Effective from 1 March 2025
Our session fees are based on your clinician’s level of experience and the timing of your appointment:
Early Career Clinician
(0–2 years post-registration experience)

$230 during business hours

Mid-Career Clinician
(2–4 years post-registration experience)

$260 after hours
Senior Clinician
(5+ years post-registration experience)

Principal Psychologist

$290 after hours
After-hours rates apply to appointments starting at 5:00pm or later, and all Saturday sessions.
Billing and Payments
We are a pre-billing practice, which means payment is required at the time of booking or prior to your session. After the session is completed, we can process any eligible Medicare rebates on your behalf.
Services provided by psychologists are GST-free, with the exception of reports and some non-clinical services, which may attract GST.
Appointment Details

Initial Appointments: 50–60 minutes

Ongoing Sessions: 50 minutes
Your first session will focus on understanding your goals and expectations. Your clinician will work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan.
We offer both business hours and after-hours appointments to suit your schedule.
Referrals and Rebates
Private (Self-Referred) Clients
You do not need a referral to see one of our clinicians. Simply call our friendly team to book your appointment. You may be eligible for a rebate through your private health insurance, depending on your level of cover.
Medicare
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

A review with your GP is required after the first 6 sessions to access the remaining 4.

Please note: We do not bulk bill.
NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)
We welcome referrals from individuals who are self-managed or plan-managed under the NDIS.

Please note: We are not an NDIA-registered provider and therefore cannot accept clients with agency-managed funding.

A gap fee may apply if our session fees exceed the standard NDIS rate, which would be payable by the client.
We’re happy to provide supporting documentation or discuss billing arrangements with your plan manager if needed.
Insurance and Third-Party Funders
Our clinicians also accept referrals through:

Lifetime Care
In most cases, there is no out-of-pocket expense. We invoice the insurer directly once approval has been confirmed. A GP referral is usually required to initiate these services.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 business hours’ notice.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
